If you no longer wish to use Injection Molding Hub and want to permanently delete your account and associated data, you can do so easily. We provide two methods for account deletion: directly within the mobile app, or by contacting our support team.

What Gets Deleted?

When you choose to delete your account, this action is irreversible. The following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

• All your community posts and technical tips.
• Every comment and reply you have ever written.
• Your entire social network (followers & following lists).
• All saved posts and bookmarked content.
• Your verified status and earned badges.
• Your private profile data and preferences.
• Your login credentials (email, password).

Method 1: Delete Account Within the App (Recommended)

You can permanently delete your account at any time using the Injection Molding Hub app by following these steps:

1. Open the Injection Molding Hub app on your device.
2. Ensure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.
3. Navigate to your Profile screen.
4. Tap on Settings or look for the Account Deletion option.
5. You will see a "Final Warning" screen detailing what data will be lost.
6. Read the consequences and check the agreement box: "I have read the consequences and I agree to permanently delete all my data."
7. Wait for the 2-minute safety timer to expire (this ensures you have time to reconsider).
8. Tap the DELETE MY ACCOUNT FOREVER button.

Once you complete these steps, you will be logged out, and your account and all associated data will be permanently erased.

Method 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, you can request that we delete your account and data on your behalf.

Please send an email to our support team following these instructions:

• To: [email protected]
• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• Body: Please include the email address associated with your Injection Molding Hub account and state clearly that you want your account permanently deleted.

Note: For security reasons, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing an email deletion request. Please allow up to 7 business days for email requests to be fully processed.

Data Retention Notes

• Some data, such as crash logs or anonymized analytics usage data that cannot be linked back to you, may be retained for app performance improvements.
• Financial transactions (if any) processed by Apple or Google are subject to their respective retention policies and we cannot delete your purchase history from their platforms.
